20 Minute Morning Routine (that’s actually achievable AND includes yoga)

Getting up and ready for the day can be a challenge for even the most organized among us. While we would all love to slow things down or check off more boxes in the morning, most of us end up hitting snooze and starting the day in a frenzied blur.



Your morning routine sets the tone for the rest of your day. This means that a solid and consistent morning routine actually impacts your overall productivity, confidence, and success.




The great news is, you don’t actually need to wake up at 5AM to create the perfect morning routine. A great morning routine isn’t about who wakes up the earliest, but about beginning each day doing the things that bring you peace, calm, and positivity.


This simple 20 minute morning routine will allow you to make the most out of your mornings, without having to wake up absurdly early to do so. Its achievable, and best of all, it actually reduces stress, increases performance, and enhances your overall confidence.




Tips for creating your morning routine:

  1. You can take the guess work out of your morning routine with alarms that let you know when its time to move on to your next task.

  2. A great morning routine start the night before. Automize as many tasks as possible, like picking out your outfit for the day and setting your coffee maker on auto-start (I like to set it for 5 minutes before I wake up, this way I wake up to the smell of freshly brewed coffee - YUM!). I also prepare my smoothie for the next morning by putting all of the ingredients in my Ninja blender cup in the fridge, so that all I need to do is blend and go.
